Many seasons around the corner

Postby Keep Reel'n on Tue Jul 13, 2010 2:06 pm

Before we know it, the summer will be over, school's back in session, and many hunting seasons will be open. From waterfowl, fall turkey, upland bird hunting, small game and the best of all, whitetail season. Now is the time to make sure your bow, gun, cross-bow, etc. is sighted in and ready to go. I have started my deer scouting, and have seen some very respectible bucks on my Bay City property. I will be spending alot of time in the woods, but will also try to get on the water as much as possible...the late fall bay bite was awsome for me last year. Hunt smart, hunt safe, and get outdoors!

I have been scouting my Bay City deer property, and the deer I have been seeing are the so-far the biggest ive sen in years. Im consistantly seeing 20-25 deer a night, with 15-20 of them being bucks(no exadgeration). There are 4 or 5 bucks that I have my eye on in particular....those bucks are all between 115-130" and would make a great addition to the other bucks on my wall. There are some other nice bucks mixed in, but another year to grow would do them good. Still gotta set trail-cams and hangs stands, Oct.1st is just around the corner.... :D :D :D :D

Hey KR, do all of us car owners a favor and kill all of those potential insurance claims... Get those smelly things out of the woods so my dogs don't chase them.
