Who has been on bay?

Any reports? Was heading to the Bay today but got to the DNR ramp and the trees were blowing pretty good out of the NE.... drove around before launching to look at the bay.... saw a few whitecaps and decided to go upriver to Golson to launch and travel downstream towards Saginaw.

Haven't been out since my steering went on the Starcraft. Hope to be out Wed-Fri weather permitting. Hitting any fish in the river? Might be giving the river a try if it's too rough out on the bay. Oops. Just seen your river report...

Nothing good to report on my end. Fished on Sunday off Pinny Bar and the fingers area, ended up with two keepers and a couple throw backs. The bite for me has been really slow. I would head north, sag. bar or further north. That will be my next trip, unfortunately next week sometime.

Fished off Finn in 5-10 fow this morning before what we thought was going to be a big storm. Sure looked ominous, but headed in anyway. Only got rained on for about 1/2 hour and it wasn't that heavy. Sure glad we came in because the wind really picked up. Anyway, only manged two eyes, a keeper pike and a bunch of sheephead.

Hopefully will be out in deeper water tomorrow.

Was out last Saturday, and stunk. Did not catch a walleye on the bay. I fished NE and NW of 1 and 2. Heard some fish were caught in 12-14 foot of water around Thomas Reef. I will be out on Friday.

We were out last Wed, Thurs and Friday. Pretty slow to say the least. Fished off Finn, west of 1 and 2 and back in again SE of the plug. Took home 15 fish for the three days, but it was a struggle. Lot's of sheep, cats and some undersized walleye. Highlight was a 28" 6.5 lb'er and lost another big one at the back of the boat. Ran everything from spoons to crawlers.

Went to Manistee to fish for silver over the weekend. Sure was a nice change of pace...

The AuGres trip was slow fishing. Fished most of the day yesterday and until noon today. Only caught one walleye yesterday off Saganing Bar 16 FOW on a harness. Did catch a 5 lb smallie west of Big Charity. We went all over trying to find some biters. North Big Charity you can see bottom in 24 FOW.

Today fished until noon, caught three walleye, lost three, had one short throwback off Pt. AuGres 36-40 FOW, 2 oz snaps, 50/50 using copper colorado and willow blades. Lots of fish scattered out there off the point.

Made it out yesterday (7-2) from 8 to noon and ended up with four keepers and 1 throwback. Fished the fingers, 47 hole, and 10 FOW south of Linwood. Caught 2 at the fingers and one at both of the other locations. Only one sheep to go along with them.The four ranged from 16.5 to 19. Slow going on the inner bay.
